A member asked:

Could the eye heal its self after laser pointer damage?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: If the laser damaged the central portion, the fovea, then the loss might not disappear but if the area is small it will eventually be ignored. If the damage is further out, it will click disappear from consciousness. Light receptor cells do not recover if permanently damaged.
