Unlikely: If you have a sinus infection only then the answer would be no. However frequently the pt can have a sinus infection as well as a lung infection so then the answer would be yes. Need more information but if you are a smoker this is a very common scenario.

Not usually: A sinus infection is usually in your head/face/cheeks. It should not, typically, cause your lungs to hurt. Unless, of course, the infection tracked down into your lungs and caused pneumonia. Would get checked out.
