There are: Too many unknown details to answer that question accurately. Location, caliber, path bullet traveled, contamination of wound with foreign matter, co-morbid conditions of the individual shot are just a few things you left out. Can't possibly begin to offer any guidance.

Depends. : Soft tissue heals within weeks. A GSW to bowel may result in a fistula with drainage for months to years.
