A member asked:

Can some mild facial capillary telangiectasis get worse with time? is treatment with laser a must if they aren't too much annoying?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Facial capillaries: Yes, facial capillaries can get worse with time, particularly if things that cause their dilatation are continuing. Sun damage is one of the primary causes, so are things that make the face red or warm, like hot showers, spicy foods, hot drinks, alcohol, and others. Laser treatment is a personal choice, not a must, although it does help improve the capillaries.
