See below: Nasal congestion does not mean you have sleep apnea, for sure. But it can exacerbate it. If you snore, have morning headaches, daytime sleepiness, gasp or choke for breath at night, wake up with a dry mouth, and/or have night time acid reflux, it may be sleep apnea. If so, please consult a sleep medicine specialist for evaluation. At minimum, your nasal congestion can be treated. Hope that helps!

R/O OSA&ALLERGIES: OSA can be suggested by history and physical. Excess snoring/daytime sleepiness/apneic episodes/ aM headaches. And the Exam obesity/small oral airway/collar size>18. The definitive test is a PSG with split night/CPAP titration. I would request copy of sleep study and get a second opinion if you are not satisfied with the options. You are young CPAP can be difficult to tolerate. ENT FOR UPP EVAL.
