Is there anything i can do about acute gastritis that is recurring?

Yes: Gastritis is a disease of habits. It is important to talk to your physician or Gastroenterologist to find out what habits you need to change. Common triggers are: tobacco, alcohol, soda, coffee, tomato based foods, NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Naprosyn), skipping meals, and chocolate. If any of these are things you do every day, stop doing them and you will feel better!

"acute gastritis": If you are having multiple episodes of symptoms that are being labeled "acute gastritis", you need to have some tests donea to determine what is actually causing the bouts of these symptoms. It is difficult to treat this without knowing what the cause is. But if multiple episodes are happening, it is unlikely to be recurrent bouts of acute gastritis. See a gastroenterologist. Hope that helps.
