More protein, maybe: Your body needs protein in order to function properly. This is reflected in how you feel day to day. Non vegetarian foods provide meat, fowl, and fish -- which vegetarian foods do not. It's possible to be healthy and feel good as a vegetarian if you eat enough proteins, which could include eggs and dairy items too. Vitamin B12 can be deficient in strict vegan diets.
