Call your doctor: There can be different reasons for the pain, but the most serious and potentially life-threatening would be deep vein thrombosis (dvt). This should be checked in the emergency room with an ultrasound. http://www.webmd.com/dvt/ss/slideshow-deep-vein-thrombosis-overview please call your doctor, since history is important.
