Less than 150/ 90: The new guideline states "in the general population aged ≥60 years, initiate pharmacologic treatment to lower blood pressure at systolic blood pressure ≥150 mm hg or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mm hg and treat to a goal sbp 150 mm hg and goal dbp 90 mm hg" therefore the aim is to keep BP below 150/90 in people 60 year or older.
