Potentially: I would certainly let your surgeon know, particularly if these are new symptoms. Your surgery may even need to be postponed until the exact cause determined. With your history, it certainly could be coming from your neck, but neck and shoulder pain can also be a sign of cardiac problems. Consider being seen.
