A cast was put on my broken wrist today and my fingers are incredibly swollen. i have been icing/elevating them but they feel like pins and needles.

Reevaluate: If the fingers got more swollen and the symptoms worsen after the cast was placed, you should be reevaluated to rule out too much compression from the cast.

Swollen wrist: If the swelling is more than before the cast and if the pins and needles is new since the cast you need to have the cast checked out to make sure its not too tight and more importantly to make sure its not crps.
