Healthy diet: Vitamins and minerals are in our food, but most diets do not contain enough vitamin c, d, iodine, zinc, and calcium. Pregnancy can make even greater demands on our vitamin needs. Taking a multivitamin/mineral supplement is often helpful to round out the foods produced in any one part of our world. Infection resistance is enhanced with vitamin d blood measurements greater than 45.

Most critical vitamin is, as above, D, and is needed for numerous immune system functions. Recommend best levels about 60 ng/ml.
