A member asked:

One of mri x-ray results is signal void. what is the medical definition of this term? and is it bad or good for the health?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Type of MRI?: Hello, signal void is a term used with mri. Mri images are produced using signals obtained from molecules in your body and when one describes a 'signal void' it means no image is produced in that particular region. Which body part was your MRI performed on?
