Probably: I assume you are having trouble sleeping at night which is why you are using zolpidem. I recommend to all of my patients to practice proper sleep hygiene before using medications. It helps tremendously to only use the bed for sleep and sexual activity, refrain from napping and only use caffeine in the morning time. If you are still having trouble sleeping, speak with your doctor.

See below: Agree with dr. Kohlitz. Also avoid alcohol, nicotine, vigorous exercise, large meals, electronics use (tv, smart phone, computer, etc.) and bright lights prior to bedtime. Keep a sleep diary of what times you went to sleep, woke up, and had caffeine. Medications usually are only short term solutions, at best. See your psychiatrist or a sleep dr. For further evaluation. Hope that helps!
