Cause?: Clear nasal mucus usually suggests allergy, environment, or virus as the cause. Although annoying, it is better out than thick and in. Older antihistamines may stop or decrease but tend to thicken mucus which is not helpful. The newer antihistamines may assist without harming. If viral perhaps should be allowed to run it's course.
