The cough is rather nonspecific but the yellow mucus from your nose is characteristic of a viral upper respiratory tract infection. The cough does suggest tracheal involvement but I see no indication for antibiotics at this time. I recommend taking a cough suppresant recommended by your pharmacist, ocean mist nasal spray & observing for gradual improvement with no fever or worsening chest conges
