Get examined: Many things can cause shoulder pain or refer pain to the shoulder.Your symptoms are suggestive of tendinitis .Neck problems ( cervical disc) can also cause shoulder pain .See your physician for examination and possible referral to an orthopedist. Best of luck!

The area before my shoulder on my chest and up hurts when I move it and pick up things what could be wrong? Thank you I feel like my whole area sore like I pulled a muscle because it only happens when I move it or pick up something?
Sore shoulder since early February. Docs think its muscle impingement. They gave me medicine,patches,even a shot,and it just feels worse...now its to the point that any movement hurts. Ive had m.i. before and this feels diff. What else could it be?
