A member asked:

I have weak spots in my retina, in a few weeks i must return to the doctor. can my body repair these spots? does it help not to move my eyes too much?

Lattice Degeneration: It sounds like you have a condition called lattice degeneration. It's a relatively common finding on eye exams. You can use your eyes normally without risk. If you develop flashing lights and/or new floaters in the vision, or vision loss, see your ophthalmologist immediately. Laser is sometimes used to fix weak spots in the retina.
