Get a "donut": If you haven't already, get a "donut" (inflatable cushion) from the pharmacy. This may allow you to sit or lay down comfortably. Not much you can do about a tailbone fracture, though. Stay off of it as much as you can. If no improvement in a few weeks, revisit your physician or go to your doctor for follow up. The severity of the fracture may require further intervention, but let ur dr decide.
