Ampicillin/pregnancy: This question is a bit vague, so let me try and help in some way. If your question is whether or not Ampicillin can be taken during pregnancy...It can. If your question is whether Ampicillin is for a "womb infection"---it depends entirely on the scenario in which the infection is diagnosed. Some infections it helps, some it does not. Please do not self treat in this scenario, ask your gyn!

Do not self Treat: Please do not ever treat a potentially life threatening infection on your own. Only under the care of a physician treating a specific infection with a specific medication would this scenario be okay.
