It depends: Most of the time anxiety would cause symptoms involving both sides of the body or "central" symptoms. Also anxiety can aggravate an itch that is already there for other reasons. If the swelling continues in the veins i would have it checked it out.

Possibly, but I'd: get a physical first before assuming your sx's are from anxiety. If they are, they are atypical and again, should be bi-lateral unless you are producing a conversion reaction (again, unusual). Did you do anything to that hand?
