Gyn prescribed me duphaston from 2/4/2014 to 9/4/2014 twice a day for secondary amenhorrhea.normal ultrasound.not pregnant.when will i get my period?

Withdrawal bleeding: Duphaston is a Progesterone like agent. It may be use to produce bleeding when ovulation has failed and hence no Progesterone has been produced. It is usually given for 10 days and then stopped with bleeding generally occurring 3-7 days after it is stopped unless your body is not producing estrogen or the uterine lining is scarred. Continuous use will actually suppress menses.
