Withdrawal bleeding: Duphaston is a Progesterone like agent. It may be use to produce bleeding when ovulation has failed and hence no Progesterone has been produced. It is usually given for 10 days and then stopped with bleeding generally occurring 3-7 days after it is stopped unless your body is not producing estrogen or the uterine lining is scarred. Continuous use will actually suppress menses.
