Can be anxiety: Anxiety can cause all kinds of physical symptoms, including tingling in the cheek. This happens especially when someone is hyperventilating from anxiety. You may well benefit from psychotherapy with a psychologist, focusing on your health anxiety and learning some new ways of dealing with it. Xanax (alprazolam) can help intermittently, but risks dependence when used chronically.
