Oil: Oil is nine calories per gram. The highest of foods. Think of olive oil, peanut oil, and the list of oils that are also foods go on and on….
Now if you are looking at this as a laxative then you may be right that it is not absorbed well. But oils are foods in many instances.

Yes, but No: Since you cannot digest it, the approx 120 calories per Tablespoon do not add to your daily intake at all. Even if it did - this would play no role in your healthy weight reduction diet. Healthy moderate diets with adequate exercise are much more significant if weight loss is a concern. Best!
