Gravity ; Feelings: BP a result of: cardiac output & peripheral resistance; i.e. The average degree of restriction of the 20,000 to 30,000 end arteries, called arterioles, which control blood flow into all capillaries. In supine position, venous return to heart ↑ed, thus CO ↑ed ; systolic BP usually higher, depending on brain control of arterioles. Subconscious feelings of anger, frustration &/or pain, +/- fear, ↑BP.
