What to do if i feel tired all day from an otc sleep aidkind of worried?

Common side affect: Many OTC sleep aids cause a next day hangover effect. Unfortunately, it is a common side affect. There is no go way to predict who it will occur in, and it can happen with most OTC sleep aids. There are prescription sleep aids with shorter half lives that can minimize this.

Stop taking it.: What did you take? Things like Zyrtec and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) can be sedating for long periods of time. If you feel the sedating effect lasts into the day time, don't take anymore, let it wash out of our system, and try something more benign like Melatonin.
