Evaluation: The lesion, since it is not a normal part of your anatomy, should be properly diagnosed. An oral surgeon may want to take a biopsy or excise the whole lesion. Until it is evaluated and deemed harmless, there is always room for concern.

You should: If it does not go away in two weeks, it would be best if you visited a doctor in order to find out the cause and treatment if needed..
