See a dentist: It is very common to have sensitive teeth from clenching your teeth at night while you sleep, know as bruxism. Usually you will have other symptoms such as, sore or tight jaw muscles, possible headache, possible jaw joint pain or noise when opening or closing. Or none of the above. Tooth decay or a cavity can also cause sensitivity. See a qualified dentist in the area of tmd/tmj dysfunction.

See a dentist: No cavities from clenching. Can often cause sensitive teeth. You need a dental exam to determine the cause of the sensitivity.
