A member asked:

Any explanation for why i get head pressure when i laugh?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Increased ICP: Increased intracranial pressure (ICP) can occur after Valsalva maneuvers that include straining, sneezing, bending down, coughing, or laughing. Patients can feel head pressure as a result. If your head pressure is transient, then it is likely related to the laughing episode. If it persists or changes in nature, you should seek out a neurologist. Reference: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12890138
