Can any doc explain why avoid certain foods when you have a stomach ulcer when they're actually alkalising?

Unsure about ?: Actually diet has very little to do in causing stomach ulcer although coffee and tea tend to stimulate more acid production and NSAID should be avoided. I presume you have been checked for H pylori infection.
