How long should you wait until you put your new dentures in after you have your teeth pulled?

Depends: If your treatment was planned as an immediate denture, your denture(s) are placed immediately following the removal of your teeth. If your treatment was not planned as an immediate denture, the extractions would be performed, a 3-6 week healing process would occur, and your denture(s) would then be fabricated and inserted.

Immediately: Usually if you get dentures "same day" after tooth extractions, you should wear them out the door and overnight. One reason is that your gums will swell after extractions and you'll have trouble getting your dentures in for several days unless you put them in at the start. If you've waited and have trouble now, give your gum swelling time to go down and your dentures should fit better soon.

Right away: If they are "immediate" dentures, they should be put in at the time of surgery. The next day, the dentist removes them and adjusts them. After that, you keep them out at night.
