Maybe palpitations: You may be experiencing anxiety, which commonly presents with heart palpitations. Make an appointment with your family physician, and clearly explain your concerns about depression and anxiety. He or she should be able to competently screen you for both. If they believe a further consultation is appropriate, they can give you the name of a psychiatrist you can consult for a more confidence.
