I have costochondritis, the dr. is giving me colchicine o.6 mg for the pain. i also have gerd, will that medicine hurt my stomach?

Gout?: Colchicine is used to treat gout. I have no knowledge of any benefit for its use in the treatment of costochondritis. Costochondritis is usually treated with anti-inflammatories, oral steroids, therapy or steroid injections. Usually resolves in 4 months but can become chronic. Colchicine does not have a high incidence of gastric pain or gastritis.

Is there a link between the onset of GERD from costochondritis from high impact workouts? Also, can GERD/costochondritis cause motion sickness, feeling like one cannot breath, but medically fine per doctor? It lasted for 3 months and slowly went away?
