The condition may be associated with chest wall muscle tightness and inflammation associated with costochondritis . Discuss local treatment with your specialist. The use of medication is often effective in conjunction with local treatment. Physical therapy is also recommended. Watch for signs of shortness of breath, and a baseline chest image/PFTs should be considered.
