Difficult condition: Infectious wheezing is difficult in infants and may have little early response to any therapy.I use nebulizers at this age rather than inhalers /chambers, but even these don't assure improvement. If the kid is taking fluids well enough to pee every 4-6 hours you can continue treatment and monitor at home.Id drinking slows or stops, the kid needs to be evaluated.Occasionally these need IV fluids, 02.
