Immediate exam: Use saline nasal saline drops from the drug store and a vaporizer for your child. Help to gently clear the discharge with tissue. Also, I suggest an immediate exam at a clinic. Serious illnesses such as pneumonia must be checked for. The sooner your child is properly examined at a clinic the better the chances for a full recovery.
