Not for insomnia: The primary use for muscle spasticity and neuropatic pain. Sedation and sleepiness are common side effects. Baclofen is available 10 and 20 mg tablets. The usual starting dosage is 5 mg three times a day, which can be increased by 5 mg every 2-3 days until adequate pain relief is obtained.
