Ask his pediatrician: About developmental screening ; seeing a pediatric cardiologist who can rule out structural anomalies ; may have your child wear a small " heart card" to record heart rate over 24 hours. A pediatric pulmonologist can check for exercise-induced asthma. A pediatric neurologist would be next. Video an episode to show doctors. I assume it's not just from crying, a breath-holding spell.
