Your: Pituitary-adrenal axis regulates cortisol when all is functioning. Your symptoms could be as a result of myriad other issues. Did you google this and decide this is what you have, or is there some other piece of information missing?

It's complicated: As my colleagues said, it's complicated. Elevated AM cortisol would tend to give you high energy; low levels may cause fatigue.While the concept of "adrenal fatigue" is embraced by many holistic/integrative Drs. it's considered unproven by most.
