A member asked:

When having poor sleep for let's say a month. is it possible for the body to recover and still grow at its normal rate as i'm still 17 and how?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to say: At 17 most males are end of their natural growth. If you entered puberty at the same time as your peers you are likely done. Good sleep, diet and exercise do support good growth, but a month of irregular sleep has little impact on the process. An xray of your wrist and hand could show some growth potential if your growth centers remain open.
