3 months post pe. still recovering. lately i was sleeping 6-7 hrs a day and rales worsened. so i started sleeping 8 hrs and feel better. why?

Fatigue: I am assuming PE is Pulmonary Embolism and not Pericardial Effusion.Likely it is fatigue and usually after a PE the blood thinners themselves will cause fatigue even with anemia and also with a PE you are having fatigue from increased work of breathing.
