Hi, my whole right side of my stomach hurts, especially when i cough. the pain seems to be worse in the lower right abdomen area and travel up. could this be just by coughing too much and i strained the muscles?

Possibly muscular: Muscular discomfort can usually be diagnosed by palpation of the muscle and asking the patient to perform maneuvers of the abdominal wall. Otherwise persistent right lower abdominal discomfort raises the question of appendicitis or ovarian pathology. If you are uncertain,have your physician evaluate you.
