What would cause pain on left side of back left knee, down outter part of leg? where tendon is. 25f with negative ultrasound of leg last year.

Peroneal nerve: Could be irritated. Ultrasound wouldn't show anything. Could also be it band tendinitis or even a lateral meniscus tear. Would be difficult to determine without an exam.
