Strained my muscle/tendon, specif. arnd semitendinosus tendon area i think, near the inner and back of my right knee when i stretch out my leg to run?

Let it rest: Hamstring muscle/ tendon strains esp.@ the knee take a while to heal.If you strained your "semi- t" then rest , ice , compression , elevation(rice) is appropriate acutely . Avoid running or other activities which will aggravate it. The biggest mistake i see in athletes is coming back to soon after a hamstring injury. There is no substitute for rest. U may be able to swim or ex. Bike w/o re-injury.
