My husband has crohn's disease. what is the likelihood that our baby will have it?

About 1 in 10: If you look at all close relatives of people with crohn's disease, about 1 in 10 will also have crohn's disease. Many other autoimmune conditions have similar risks for relatives - a slightly increased risk that seems to be caused by many different genes, complicated patterns of inheritance, and perhaps some environmental factors or triggers. Symptoms often begin in the 20's.
