Tonsils: Have you been buying a need tooth brush after each infection and has the the rest of the family been tested for strep? Normally after 6 strep infections in a year your pediatrician may recommend a tonsillectomy.

You are there: After three bouts in such a short time you are now at the point to talk about removal of tonsils. This discussion should take place with a pediatric ear nose and throat doctor (ent). Ask your pediatrician for a referral if you do not already have one.
