Regaining lost wt?: The answer depends on why you had your thyroidectomy. If it was for hyperthyroidism then you probably lost a lot of weight before the surgery and now you are regaining what you lost which is natural. Some people regain more weight than they lost and if so, cutting your caloric intake (not just carbs) and getting more exercise should help.
