No: Hernias in this area only occur if you've had surgery there. This sounds like a torn muscle that spasms and twitches. It will sometimes have an associated mass that will resolve over a month or two. The pain or sensitivity may last 6 months. Anything is possible so se a dr if it persists or has vomiting, weight loss, diarrhea, or worsens.
