Insomnia: The most effective non-medication remedies for insomnia are better sleep and exercise. Re: exercise, make yrself do it even if you don't want to. Listening to music can help w sticking with it. Many meds used for sleep are addictive tranquilizers. Some mds prescribe trazodone (an older antidepressant) w good results for sleep.
