No: Shingles is associated with chicken pox not with herpes simplex cold sores.

Herpes/Chicken Pox: Nope. Cold sores are usually the herpes simplex viral infection. Shingle are a reactivation of a previous infection of chicken pox. Chickenpox are not sexually transmitted and thus shingles is not sexually transmitted.
